Youth Learn to Skate
About Our Learn-to-Skate Hockey Program
Welcome to our 8-week, Learn-to-Skate Hockey Program! Designed for skaters of all ages and skill levels, our program offers an exciting introduction to hockey fundamentals, emphasizing fun, skill development, and confidence on wheels. Whether you're brand new to skating or eager to build on existing skills, our supportive environment is perfect for everyone.
What to Expect Throughout each session, participants will engage in structured drills, guided exercises, and interactive games, all designed to build essential skating and hockey skills. Our experienced coaches will cover balance, agility, stopping, and turning, progressing into hockey basics like stick handling and movement coordination. While we won’t be using pucks, players will work with sticks and cones to simulate real hockey scenarios, setting a solid foundation for further play.
Each week will focus on a new theme to keep things fresh and engaging, so players stay motivated and challenged. Alongside skill-building, we emphasize teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship—qualities that are as crucial on the rink as they are off.
Program Highlights
- Duration: 8-week program with 1-hour sessions each week
