The Central Coast Rage was re-established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2018, and was initially founded in 1993. The organization is recognized by the state of California as an active program focused on helping and supporting our community.
OUR MISSION
The Central Coast Rage is committed to advancing club hockey development through a range of programs that compete in regional and national tournaments. Our primary focus is fostering the personal and athletic growth of inline hockey athletes. This commitment includes extensive on- and off-rink training sessions and active participation in major tournaments throughout the year such as Torhs, Narch, Pacific Cup, and State Wars.
In addition to our core mission, we are deeply invested in the individual journeys of each athlete in the Rage program. We acknowledge their unique talents, aspirations, and obstacles, providing personalized coaching, specialized training, and access to resources that support their success both in athletics and in life. Our ultimate objective is to cultivate well-rounded individuals equipped with essential life skills, resilience, and a profound sense of sportsmanship.
OUR HOME
Central Coast Sports Arena has been the home of the Central Coast Rage since it's inception, but we also practice at other local rinks (Ken Hampian Rink, San Luis Obispo), based on team schedules.
HOW CAN I JOIN THE CENTRAL COAST RAGE?
Open tryouts are held yearly during the month of September for the upcoming season. Tryouts are the only guaranteed opportunity for potential players to join our teams. Afterwards, limited spots may be available and potential players must fill out the form below, and discuss with coaches to determine open spots and availability.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
- Monthly Dues: TBD (Based on team practice schedule)
- Automatically charged to the credit card on file on the 15th of every month
- AAU Annual Membership: $25 (Required to practice and play on certain rinks)
- RHA Annual Membership: $35 (Required to practice and play on certain rinks)
- Uniform package options available (new uniform design every 2-3 years)
- Home and away jerseys, team pants, and team shirt: $250
- Additional team-branded items will be available for purchase but are NOT required (stickers, t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, hats, etc.)
- Tournament costs divided amongst players on the team (usually between $90-$125 per tournament, generally once a month).
HOW OFTEN DO WE PRACTICE?
Practice locations, dates and times may vary based on assigned team and age group. However most of our teams will practice 2-4 times per month.
